adam & danielle’s wedding {riddells creek macedon ranges wedding photographer}

“I will not be touching the alpacas!”

Danielle was laying down the rules now that she had married into Adam’s ‘alpaca farming’ family. There is plenty of things Danielle is fond of and one of them is not alpacas. “They stink!” she giggled.

She was making her speech, standing beside her new husband Adam and surrounded by her most favourite people in the whole world. It was a white marqee , in a paddock, fitted out with retro, cozy couches, fabulous food and funky music. Who could ask for any better way to party the night away?

Adam & Danielle have travelled the world together. It was so important to them both that there wedding was held right back where they started- in the countryside in Australia with their family and friends. Even Danielle’s bouquet has an ‘australiana’ feel about it. The wedding was held at Adam’s parent property in Riddells Creek in the beautiful Macedon Ranges. Signs were posted all over the porperty directing guests where to go and a beautiful door (yes a door in the middle of the bush) lead guests down a small  area by the creek where they took their vows. It was magical. Happy. Teary. Lovely. Them.

Adam had researched and then bought perfume for both Danielle’s sisters (the bridesmaids) and wrote a little note with them which already had my eyes watering before I had even picked up my camera at the start of the day. That was just the start. Adam also did one of the coolest things I had ever seen at a wedding. He built an entire ‘bathroom’ to go with the port-a-loos! A sink with a working tap and a light over the mirror, but wait- they also had a basket of goodies in the ‘bathroom, such as bandaids, deodorant, tampons and many more little things that could help guests enjoy themselves even longer. They really did think of everything.

Enjoy this wedding and gain inspiration from their ideas.. some so simple yet so effective. Awesome.
