Well- this is my first blog post in quite a while- I’ve been slightly busy looking after my second baby Angus who is now 3 months old. I have been wanting to share this wedding for a long time so I’m finally I got the chance.
Jake and Helene’s wedding was held in the little country town of Nagambie- not too far from where I grew up. Both the ceremony and reception were at Nagambie Lakes Receptions – just up the road from the famous Kirwin’s Bridge- where we went for some of our location pics.
They are such a delightful couple and just smiled and laughed all day long. I loved the blend of Helene’s Greek background and Jake Aussie roots showing through in their choices for the day. It made everyone from both sides feel welcomed with open arms.
Helene’s clever Mum made her gorgeous dress and from memory- all of the bridesmaids dresses too ( Gosh -I hope I got that right!)

I was around 7 months pregnant when I shot this wedding and want to thank Emily Black for helping me out on the day when I really needed to sit down!
Since their March wedding day- I’ve heard from Helene who says the couple are expecting their first bub. I’m totally thrilled for them- although with a newborn of my own (he is number 2)- they really don’t know what they’ve got ahead of them!!.
