This shoot is my last in the series photographed at the beautiful Mt William Winery – between Kilmore and Lancefield. It was such a great spot I will be doing more engagement sessions there in January- let me know if you’re keen because places will disappear quickly!
Jared & Rebecca arrived during a huge downpour. It was dark and absolutely pelting and I was worried we wouldn’t even get to shoot anything. However we had time to go through all of their wonderful wedding plans so far- they are getting married next March at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. I always love shooting weddings there and it’s going to be a beauty. By the time we chatted, gossiped and giggled- the skies had actually cleared! So we went for a walk around the winery and got some lovely pics- the light was awesome! The ground underfoot was rather wet and muddy so thanks for braving it with your heels Bec- NB: check out the mud on the heels on the pics towards the end of the shoot!! Oh- and a small note of crafty cleverness (which I am always appreciative of) Bec made her own dress the week before the shoot! How cool is that?!? I also think the little bouquet was such a cute touch.
It was great getting to know these guys and experiencing typical Melbourne-type weather of “four seasons in one day”!
Enjoy!
