I love Echuca. I love shooting weddings there and it brings back memories of my own wedding there which I can’t really believe was over 8 years ago now.
Where else can a bride sail up river on a paddle steamer to her stunning ceremony in a vineyard? I loved the quiet moment Alysha had with her Dad at the front of the boat whilst her bridesmaids partied and danced to the music they had blasted once the boat trip had began. Alysha couldn’t resist joining in and it was the first time I had seen one of my brides looking stunning and dancing hip hop at the same time!
Macca (Daniel) waited at the top of the aisle and you can see by the look on his face that he was totally smitten with his beautiful bride. The ceremony was simple and lovely.
We had some time time to get some photos whilst the guests we having a ride on the paddle steamer. The back to Morrison’s Winery for the reception. Alysha and Macca had their Reception Book containing pics from their Engagement Session, on display for their guests to write in. It was a big hit.
There was some great details about this wedding I loved- the simplicity of the black bridesmaids dresses contrasting with the white parasols looked amazing and were also functional- as they kept the bridesmaids cool. I love the heart that dangled down at the ceremony- it added another little element. Fans were provided for guests which were both functional and look great.
Enjoy!
