On a recent trip to Melbourne I was lucky enough to photograph my first ever 2-day-old baby. Isn’t Saul just perfect? I knew he was coming but neither I nor his mother Sam knew if he would make it in time for my visit. Low and behold he made it just in time! His parents went to a huge effort to make their photo session with me before I jumped on a plane back to Brisbane that afternoon. Saul’s two big brother’s Noah and Seth were perfectly behaved and made everything so easy. I love the feel of this session between the family photos, the lifestyle images, the awake photos and the sleepy posed images. For me- that variety is the key to a great baby photography session.
I could not get over the strength of his gaze on me- this wasn’t a fluke- as you’ll see – he was eye-balling me big time- at 2 days old that is just unreal. Such a cutie. I could easily have brought him home with me to the Sunshine Coast. Carry on luggage??. LOL.
