dave & briony’s wedding {baccus marsh – boyd baker house}

Wow!! This was a truly awesome wedding!

Firstly- the venue was Boyd Baker House at Baccus Marsh- just 45 mins from Melbourne and well worth the drive. The house itself is inpsiring- full of funky retro furniture and brilliant design features. Not only that, it is set in the most beautiful bushlands and has an incredible feeling to it. The week leading up to the wedding had been the wettest in a long time with floods throughout Qld and Victoria- however the afternoon of the wedding the sun finally decided to shine and it was a gorgeous summer’s day!

There are so many things I love about this wedding- nearly too much to mention! The main favs of mine are: the personalised blackboard signs directing guests where to go, the totally ‘australian bush’  feel to the ceremony with the flowers they chose together with the archway which guests walked through to get to the ceremony, the ‘cheesewheel’ wedding cake (as a cheese fan this made my mouth water!!), the before and after shots of gorgeous flower girl Ruby’s dress and shoes and of course the most amazing sun-setting light to photograph with. Devine.

Enjoy!
