david and vanessa {shepparton wedding photography}

Where do I start with this wedding- there’s just so much to say!

Firstly- I have known David for many years and I only just met Vanessa for the first time at Sam & Nerrida’s wedding the week before. I thought she was just lovely and that it was a shame I wasn’t shooting their wedding as they had booked another local photographer. That week I got a call from Vanessa saying their photographer was sick and asked if there was any chance that I was able to shoot their wedding! It was just fate that I was still available! I do feel sorry for the other photographer that missed out (and being ill)- but at the same time I was thrilled to bits to be able to photograph their gorgeous wedding.

There was so many great things about this wedding to love. Vanessa was just the cutest bride- I am not sure if cute is how you are meant to describe a bride- but she just was so cute cute cute. Vanessa is a primary school teacher and had her class at the ceremony- I just love the shots of her with them. The ceremony was held in the grounds of David’s relatives home in Tatura and it was a beautiful location. I just love the spring feel of our two outdoor country locations with the orchards and the yellow canola fields- I loved the canola so much that I did a family portrait shoot in the same spot a week later which I will be blogging very soon. I love the kids that were in the bridal party- these are the kind of pics you imagine when you choose to have kids in your wedding party and they were just so well behaved and fabulous to photograph. The emotion, the small details, the weather, the fun- and there was so much fun!!! I could go on all day but instead I will let the pics speak for themselves.

What a great couple.

Enjoy!
