dickie & jacqui’s wedding {woodend wedding photography}

It was a moment of sheer terror for Dickie when he realised what had just come out of his mouth: “I would like to thank Jacqui’s parents for welcoming me into their family and helping me ease into Jacqui….”

Silence.

Followed by laughter and more laughter which went on and on and on. The poor bugger- what a great start to his speech.

Laughter was apparent throughout this wonderful wedding. These two are just made for each other. You can tell by the smiles on their faces that lasted the whole day.

The entire event was held at the gorgeous Cammeray Waters in Woodend and it was a stunning backdrop for this wedding.

I love the personal touches to this wedding.  Jacqui’s Mum is a very talented quilter and brought a family quilt to the house the gilrs got ready in which made for a great backdrop for Jacqui details shots as well as having some meaning.

Jacqui wasn’t fazed about having matching bridesmaids- she just told them to wear something green that they loved and it looked fabulous! More brides should be this brave.

Jacqui’s nieces made for gorgeous little flowers girls and also contributed to the drawing of Jacqui & Dickie that featured on their seating plan- this is such a fabulous idea!!! I just loved it.

I loved this wedding and loved this couple.

Congrats!!

Enjoy!
