jared & mel engagement session {rural victoria portrait photographer}

What better way to spend an afternoon than with a couple of lovebirds enjoying a picturesque  picnic by a stream in a gorgeous Australian bushland setting. I met Jared and Mel in a little Victorian town called Blackwood- somewhere I had never been before and I always love discovering new places. Its about 15 mins from Trentham- about 50 mins from Daylesford. It is a little swimming spot that their families have been coming to for many years- so not only was it a beautiful location- it really means something to this young couple who are about to start their lives together as husband and wife.

Strawberries, scones, tea, candles and even a bush serenade. So hopelessly romantic I can’t help but smile when I look at these pics.

I love the vintage spirit and feel to these photos. Mel went to great effort to organise all those little details and Mel-  it was well worth it. I hope you love these pics as much as I do. Looking forward to shooting their gorgeous Lancefield wedding in December.

Enjoy!
